YEARS is a semi-bio-autographical zine series I make in my spare time.
There is no story, but is rather a collection of artwork that documents my life as I live it. A way of documenting the years as they pass.
These are a few pages from the January 2021 zine
The way back was a zine I created for a comics workshop class. I made it as a walk back through my artistic development. From current day all the way back to my birth, the things, places, and experiences that informed who I am today as a creative individual.
The text within the zine is encrypted and a key is provided somewhere in the book along with the cypher. It adds a level of interactivity on the reader's end. They have to work to uncover the information behind the images, much like how one would spend time interacting with someone to uncover the stories they hold.
